Jennifer Garner is one of the five actresses being considered to star alongside Ryan Reynolds in Warner Bros’ “The Green Lantern”.

According to Latino Review, the following lovely ladies are being eyeballed for the role of Hal Jordan’s love, Carol Ferris : Garner (“Daredevil”, “Elektra”), Keri Russell (“Waitress, “Mission : Impossible III”), Eva Green (“The Golden Compass”, “Casino Royale”), Diane Kruger (“Troy”, “), and Blake Lively (“Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”, TVs “Gossip Girl”).

Since production begins next month on the Martin Campbell (“Casino Royale”) directed film, it’s likely the lucky lass will be chosen sooner rather than later.

Warner Home Video have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of The Invention of Lying on 19th January 2010. Ricky Gervais stars in this comedy set in a world where people speak the truth and have no concept of deception. Gervais plays a man who, about to lose everything, invents the “lie” and goes on to change not just the nature of movie-making, but creates the basis of religion. After much effort, he also gets the girl he loves.
