Heaven help me, but I just can’t seem to get over Matthew McConaughey, whether he’s playing an idealistic lawyer, a Christian theologian, or a guy who’s perpetually stuck in high school.
But it’s in romantic comedies that McConaughey’s really made his mark. ‘The Wedding Planner,’ ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,’ ‘Failure to Launch’ … go figger, but none of his leading women can ever seem to resist the McConaughey, and can you blame them?
This summer he’s starring in ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’ (opening May 1) in which he plays a charming ladies’ man — shocker! — who’s forced to face up to his bad behavior when three ghosts take him on a walk down memory lane, ex-girlfriend-style. Along the way he realizes his true feelings for the One Who Got Away, played by the fabulous Jennifer Garner (who honed her own romantic comedy chops in ’13 Going on 30′). Think of it as ‘A Christmas Carol’ meets ‘Made of Honor.’

The two stars of ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’ have just signed up for our Unscripted series, in which celebrites interview each other using your questions. Congratulations on your 2 wonderful children! When you and Ben were picking out names, did you ever think about possibly choosing names from work you have done, such as Alias, Elektra, Catch and Release, etc? and you had a Facebook profile for some time ago. Any plans to use Facebook to communicate with fans?
